Changshu operates an extensive network of public bus routes covering nearly all of the urban area. Buses connect attractions, residential zones, and transport hubs. Buses are generally modern, air-conditioned, and present an economical way to travel. Changshu does not possess an underground rail system; all public transport within the city happens above ground via buses.
