Great Ocean Road Itineraries

Great Ocean Road Victoria, Australia Travel Guide

Time-Based Itineraries

A 24-hour layover is not feasible for a meaningful Great Ocean Road experience due to the journey time from Melbourne and the extent of the road. Even a quick dash involves excessive operating a vehicle and very little time at attractions.

It is highly recommended to allocate at least two entire days.

Planning Short Visits

  • Allocate at least two full days for a satisfying experience.
  • Consider quick day trips for a glimpse if time is very limited.
  • Travel time by car is substantial; plan accordingly.

Weekend Getaway 2-3 days
