Situated right in Melbourne, Brevard County, MLB is the most convenient airport for destinations in the southern Space Coast (Melbourne, Palm Bay, Indialantic). It is a smaller, less crowded airport, offering a quicker and more relaxed travel experience compared to the larger Orlando hubs.
Approximately 45-60 minutes drive west of the Space Coast. MCO is a major international hub, one of the busiest airports in the United States. It provides comprehensive domestic and international flight options, making it the most common airport for foreign visitors and those seeking a wider choice of airlines and routes.
Approximately 1 hour 15 minutes drive northwest of the Space Coast. SFB primarily serves budget airlines, notably Allegiant Air, offering domestic flights to a variety of smaller cities across the U.S. It might be a solid option for travelers seeking lower fares, but it is farther from the Space Coast attractions.
