The main viewing deck for the Chocolate Hills is at the Chocolate Hills Complex in Carmen, generally open from 8:12:00 AM to 5:00 am:00 PM. Entrance Fee: PHP 50-100.

Featured Landmarks:

Chocolate Hills: A geological formation of over 1,268 uniform cone-shaped hills. These hills span more than 50 square kms. Covered in green grass, they turn a distinct chocolate brown during the dry season, for which they are named.
Philippine Tarsier Sanctuary (Corella): A conservation area for the Philippine Tarsier, one of the smallest primates in the world. Visitors can pay attention to these specific nocturnal creatures in their natural habitat keeping your distance respectfully.

Historical Sites

Blood Compact Shrine (Sikatuna Shrine): A monument commemorating the "Sandugo" or blood compact. This historical ritual occurred between Spanish explorer Miguel López de Legazpi and Datu Sikatuna, a chieftain of Bohol, in 1565. It symbolizes the first international treaty of friendship between Filipinos and Spaniards.
Baclayon Church: One of the earliest stone churches in the Philippines, dating back to 1727. It suffered partial damage from the 2013 earthquake but has undergone extensive restoration. Bohol Man-made Forest:
A dense forest of mahogany trees spanning 2 kilometers, planted as a section of a reforestation project. It has a cool, shaded drive or walk, a refreshing contrast to the outdoors landscapes.
Hinagdanan Cave:
A naturally lit limestone cave with a cool, deep lagoon where tourists can swim.
Panglao Beaches:

Waterfalls & Natural Wonders

Can-umantad Falls (Candijay):

Cabagnow Cave Pool (Anda):
A natural sinkhole with a deep, clear water pool. Access is by jumping in (carefully) from an edge. It is an exhilarating natural swimming spot.
Dimiao Twin Falls (Pangas Falls & Mag-aso Falls):
Two beautiful waterfalls in Dimiao, with refreshing swimming opportunities in a serene setting. They are less commercialized than other falls.

Anda Beach:
Located on the eastern seaboard of Bohol, Anda has pristine white sand beaches plus pristine waters. Similar to Panglao but far not as developed and crowded. It also includes various unique caves with natural pools, like Combento Cave Pool.

Chocolate Hills

Visit early morning or late afternoon for stunning photo opportunities and fewer crowds. Hills appear green in wet season, brown in dry season (March-May).

Philippine Tarsier Sanctuary

Hours: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Entrance Fee: PHP 100-150. Don't touch or disturb tarsiers. Keep noise to a minimum. Contribute to preservation efforts.

Loboc River Cruise

Cruises typically run 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Cost: PHP 600-800, which usually has buffet lunch. Show up early for a nice seat on the floating restaurant.
