General Mariano Escobedo International Airport (MTY) is Monterrey's main airport, located approximately 24 kilometers (15 miles) to the northeast of downtown.
MTY has three terminals (A, B, C) with transport buses connecting them. The airport has restaurants, cafes, duty-free shops, and other services.
Booking 2-4 months in advance generally yields better prices, particularly for overseas flights.
