Spring (March-May): Mild weather, average temperatures 4°C (39°F) to 13°C (55°F). A medium amount of rain. Groves and flowers bloom.
Summer (June-August): Warmest months, 16°C (61°F) to 19°C (66°F), occasionally 25-30°C (77-86°F). Higher rainfall, often short thunderstorms. Moderate to high humidity.
Autumn (September-November): Temperatures cool, 14°C (57°F) to 5°C (41°F). Rainfall similar to spring. Humidity increases, fog can be common.
Winter (December-February): Cool temperatures, 0°C (32°F) to 3°C (37°F), often below freezing. Snow possible but rarely heavy. Lower precipitation. High humidity, shorter days.
Hannover does not experience monsoons or hurricanes. Extreme temperatures are rare, but occasional heatwaves (above 30°C / 86°F) can occur in summer. Cold snaps (below -10°C / 14°F) are possible in winter. Prepare for these variations if traveling during the extreme ends of summer or winter.
