Noosa's public transport is managed by TransLink, Queensland's integrated public transport system. The system mainly consists of local bus services. These buses connect Noosa Heads, Noosaville, Tewantin, Sunshine Beach, Peregian Beach, and other surrounding communities. The bus network is a cost-effective way to move between popular spots without a private vehicle.
The Noosa Heads Bus Station, near Hastings Street, is a central hub for many routes. Tewantin Wharf is a hub for services to and from Tewantin and connects to the popular Noosa Ferry.
Buses run from early morning (5:30 AM) to late evening (10-11 PM). Reduced on weekends and public holidays. Main routes every 15-30 minutes peak, quieter routes hourly.
Most TransLink buses are wheelchair accessible with ramps and designated seating areas. Information on accessible routes is on the TransLink website.
Use the TransLink QLD app or Google Maps for real-time tracking and journey planning. Plan evening/weekend travel due to lower frequency. Noosa Free Holiday Bus operates during peak seasons.
