The dolmuş, a shared minibus network, is the most common and efficient form of public transport. Dolmuş are typically white or blue minibuses. They operate on fixed routes but can be hailed anywhere along their route and stop upon request, not just at designated stops.

The main hub for all dolmuş services is the Bodrum Otogar (Bus Station), just outside the city center. From here, dolmuş routes connect to all major towns and popular beaches, including Gümbet, Bitez, Ortakent, Turgutreis, Yalıkavak, and Göltürkbükü. The destination is displayed on the front window.
