Outdoor Adventures

Mount Kilimanjaro is a world-class trekking destination, but other outdoor activities are available in the surrounding region.

Kilimanjaro Trekking Routes

Marangu Route 6-7 days

Known as the "Coca-Cola route", it is the easiest route, but also presents the lowest success rate due to its rapid ascent. This is the only route that features dormitory-style huts for overnight stays.

Machame Route 6-7 days

Referred to as the "Whiskey route", it is more challenging but highly scenic. It offers better acclimatization due to its "climb high, sleep low" profile and camp stays. It shows a higher success rate than Marangu.

Lemosho Route 7-9 days

This route is longer, more remote, and offers breathtaking scenery. It gives excellent acclimatization due to its extended duration and camp stays. It has the highest success rate among all routes.
