Time-Based Itineraries

A 24-hour layover is not feasible for a meaningful Great Ocean Road experience due to the travel time from Melbourne and the extent of the road. Even a quick dash involves excessive driving and very little time at attractions.

It is highly recommended to allocate at least two full days.

Planning Short Visits

  • Allocate at least two full days for a rewarding experience.
  • Consider quick day trips for a glimpse if time is very limited.
  • Driving time is substantial; plan accordingly.
